Working in collaboration with the IWDA members, Pacific Water Research Centre and Ryerson Urban Water will organize a symposium at the Canadian Science Policy Conference 2018. This symposium will highlight the need for a national water vision in Canada and bring together experts from across Canada to begin a discussion on the opportunities and obstacles of achieving a common vision. This symposium will foster ideas, leading to actionable strategies, and steps necessary for making this visioning process a success.

The Canadian Science Policy Conference is an annual event held in the nation’s capital that is designed to convene, connect, build capacity, and catalyze research to deepen and expand exploration in science, technology, and innovation policy. The conference brings together national science stakeholders and sectors of society to strengthen connections with international organizations, train the next generation of science policy experts, and promote and engage in research and analysis.
